Old Craft Workshop

During the tours, it is possible to get acquainted with the historical environment of the old craft workshops, there are permanent expositions of historical crafts, and visitors are given the opportunity to observe and participate in the process of the craftsman's work. In the master's workshop, work tools, articles, and the work process are shown.

The workshop presents the history of Vilnius city craftsmanship from the very first letters of Gediminas, with which the Grand Duke invited masters from Europe. So it is a great opportunity for people to touch that history and feel part of the old Vilnius, to take a piece of history with them. Baltic, ethnographic and contemporary crafts are also represented here.

Educational activities and trainings will undoubtedly involve visitors in the world of various crafts. Craft training can be chosen not only according to the nature, but also according to the historical period of the craft and learn to work with old, historical tools or apply modern craft technologies.
